Before I became a journalist, I taught high school Spanish in Hawaii, spent a year in southern Chile on a Fulbright grant, and worked for a year on an update to “Natural Capitalism: Creating the Next Industrial Revolution” with energy scholar Amory Lovins at Rocky Mountain Institute.
